Aathoor, Dindigul district

Mullai Eco System Village - Athoor is situated in the Dindugal District near Sempatti and it’s a traditional trade route of India. The Kodaganar River runs through this place and joins the Kaveri River. Kamarajar Sagar Dam situated near Western Ghats. Pandian Period Ancient Sivan temple is situated near this area (During 17-18th Century, it’s renovated during Nayakar Period.) 13th Century Lake inscriptions is still prevailing in this village. 1000 yrs old Buddhist Temple was there and it’s ruined. Now, we can see one Buddha Statue in this village
